My name is Claire. I want to share the story about my musical journey.

I have been playing and teaching piano for longer than 20 years. I studied Piano Performance at Konkuk University in South Korea for 4 years. I have been playing the piano/keyboard as a church musician since I was 18. At that time, my dream was to be able to play the piano more professionally with well-balanced techniques. With God's grace, finally, I was able to enter Konkuk University at the top score, so that I could get a full scholarship during the entire 4 years.

I met my first student when I was in the university. It was an amazing experience that I can share my music and technique with someone else! After graduating, I started my own business to teach piano to more students. I had run my studio for 12 years, and I had around 90 students when I decided to move to Canada. My family and I moved to Canada in 2018 for a better life, and I love where I live. I restarted my teaching journey here in Moncton, and already met so many adorable students. I am so grateful about that.

I never stop challenge myself to be informative and learned. I have been organizing and participating in many workshops for playing and teaching the piano, and I am still learning. I got the elementary, and intermediate teaching certificates from Royal Conservatory of Music in Canada. I am expanding my teaching to violin, now I am a member of the Orchestra Virtuosi as a violinist.

I am looking forward to seeing the new students more and more.
